The Book of Mormon testifies of the Bible and of Jesus Christ

The Book of Mormon is a book written by prophets who lived in the American continent. It contains the teachings of those prophets as it explains about the gospel principles in the perspective of the life and challenges experienced by those who lived in the old American continent. It testifies of Jesus Christ divinity. It also tell about the visit of the ressucted Jesus Christ to the natives of the American continent.

I have read the Book of Mormon many times. I have felt great happiness in discovering about the love of God and understading more about the principles that lead to happiness in this life. The reading of the Book of Mormon has helped me feel, through the Holy Ghost, that God lives, that He loves me, that He knows me. I also came to a greater understanding about what God wants me to do in this life and how I must treat the lives of those around me. I came to learn about the meaning of true religion, about the need to serve one another and to exercise faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and in my Heavenly Father. Through the reading of the Book of Mormon I could get a better understanding about the life and sacrifice of Jesus Christ - his attonement for mankind and the blessings and promisses extended to those who strive to be obedient sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father. Above all, after pondering about the teachings found in the Book of Mormon, I prayed and I can testifiy that I received a confirmation and the knowledge that God has once again called prophets on the face of the earth. That He loves His children in all countries and continents and that he extends His invitation to all of his children to come to Him through His son, Jesus Christ. I also know that Joseph Smith was called of god as a Prophet, Seer and Revelator and that he was called of God to restore the church of Jesus Christ in these latter days and allow me to partake of the truths of His true Gospel. I know that God allowed His only begotten son to attone for the sins of all makind so that we could have the opportunity of receiving eternal life and return to His presence. I know that God Lives. I know that my Redeemer, Jesus Christ, lives. I know that He loves me. This is my testimony in Jesus Christ name.

The video below shares the testimony of a modern Apostle of the Lord, Elder Russel M. Nelson, who explains about the Book of Mormon.
